Born in Hawaii, I currently live in Southern California with my husband, daughter, and dog. (Not necessarily in that order.) I’ve been a writer in various forms since the age of ten, working in magazine publishing, advertising, nonprofit marketing and forays into fiction.

Last year I turned 50 and decided it was time to write something more personal. I want to explore what it is to be a woman with experience, to reflect on where I’ve been, and to honor my own voice.
